Vous avez publié hier cet article qui est tellement apologétique en faveur de Mme Valérie Hoffenberg qu’il apparaît beaucoup comme un acte de propagande pour cette candidate, soutenue par le fameux ‘Quai d’Orsay’ et le ministre français des affaires étrangères, Alain Juppé, représenté ici sur la photo illustrant l’article, avec l’ambassadeur français en Israël.

Cette position du ‘Jerusalem Post’ est très déséquilibrée et requiert quelques clarifications.

M. Juppé est un ennemi déclaré, quoique “bien élevé”, d’Israël et du sionisme. Représentant de la Droite UMP, il a déjà déclaré avec son ami Michel Rocard, positionné sur la Gauche du spectre politique français, que : « Israël est une erreur historique ».

Et pas seulement une fois, mais cette position est la colonne vertébrale même de la politique française au Moyen Orient, tentant de tracer sa route dans sa « Politique Arabe », et de conduire, avec un certain succès, l’Union Européenne à sa suite.

Comme Mme Hoffenberg est ouvertement soutenue par M. Juppé et tout ce ‘politiquement correct’, elle ne devrait pas recevoir un tel soutien apologétique aveugle de la part du ‘Jerusalem Post’.

Une autre grande raison pour être plus circonspect dans le choix de l’électorat juif français en Israël, c’est que le ‘Quai d’Orsay’ a un projet politique très défavorable à la sécurité d’Israël. Depuis des années, il défend l’Etat palestinien, dans une atmosphère propagandiste, avec une absence absolue de préoccupation pour la population juive.

L’agence de presse officielle, “l’Agence France Presse”, publie sans cesse des dépêches défavorables à Israël, le dépeignant comme un pays criminel, répressif, raciste.

Dans la soi-disant “Affaire al Dura”, avec l’envoyé spécial permanent de la chaîne nationale France 2, M. Charles Enderlin, l’AFP et le Quai d’Orsay ont joué un rôle clé dans la publication et le maintien de cette diffamation : la France est aujourd’hui le seul pays en Occident à maintenir ce mensonge monstrueux, qui a causé tant de mal à la réputation internationale d’Israël.

You published yesterday this paper which is so apologetic in favor of Mrs Valerie Hoffenberg that it looks very much like an act of propaganda for this candidate, supported by the so called “Quai d’Orsay” and the French ministrer of Foreign Affairs, Alain Juppé, represented here on the picture illustrating the article, with the French ambassador to Israël.

This position of the ‘Jerusalem Post’ is quite unfair and request some clarifications.

M. Juppé is a declared, though “well educated” enemy of Israel and Zionism. A representant of the Right UMP, he already declared with his friend Michel Rocard, on the Left side of the French political spectrum, that : “Israël is an historical mistake”,

And not just once, but this is the very backbone of the French policy in the Middle Est, trying to make its way in its “Arab policy”, and to lead with some success, the UE in its wake.

As Mrs Hoffenberg is openly supported by M. Juppé and all this political correctness, she should not get such an apologetic and blind support from the ‘Jerusalem Post’.

Another great reason to be more cautious in the choice the French Jewish constituency in Israël, is that the Quai d’Orsay has a political agenda very unfavorable for the Israeli safety.

For years, it is defending the Palestinian state, in a propagandist atmosphere, with absolutely no concern for the Jewish population.

The official press agency, “Agence France Presse “, is always giving reports unfavorable to Israël, portraying it as a criminal, repressive, racist country.

In the so called “Affaire Al Dura”, with M. Charles Enderlin, permanent ‘envoyé spécial’ for the national channel France 2, AFP and the Quai d’Orsay played a key role to issue and maintain this forgery : France is now the only country in the West to maintain this monstruous lie, which caused so much harm to the Israeli international reputation.

M. Philippe Karsenty has fighted fiercefully in order to clarify this ugly forgery, still masked in France. He is an honorable candidate to represent French Jewry living in Israel : a paper on his engagement would be welcome !
